The Royal Armouries, Leeds

Leeds is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city unrivalled as a shopping destination and centre for entertainment, the arts, museums, restaurants, pubs and clubs. The Royal Armouries is located only a short distance from the centre of Leeds at Clarence Dock.

The museum is a multi-million pound purpose built building which houses a large part of the national collection of arms and armour, and displays over 8500 objects throughout its five themed galleries. This venue offers a unique conference and exhibition facility, with the added benefit of on-site hotel accommodation at the Express by Holiday Inn.

Travel

Rail - The nearest main station is Leeds City Centre. The Royal Armouries is approx 15-20 minute walk or 5 minute taxi drive from the station. This pedestrian map shows the route from Leeds Station to the Royal Armouries.

Car - Parking is available on site at the Royal Armouries, this is free for delegates attending the conference.

Air - Leeds/Bradford Airport is approximately 30 minutes drive, there is a taxi booking service available in the arrivals area.. A shuttle bus service is also available to Leeds City Centre. Accommodation

We recommend delegates stay at the Express by Holiday Inn which is ideally located opposite the Royal Armouries.  We have reserved a number of bedrooms at a special discounted rate of £69 bed and breakfast  - however you must book before the 26th August. After this date the rooms will be released. Leeds is a very busy city and hotels do get booked up very quickly – you are advised to arrange your accommodation as soon as possible.
