The water industry is at the heart of a country’s economy and it undertakes a dual role, not only of providing the clean water that is essential for health, well being, industrial development and agriculture, but also in collecting and treating the used water to ensure its discharge has no adverse environmental impact. Undertaking this requires a large energy input with consequent CO2 emissions.

The EWWMC is an annual event that explores the practical advances that have been made in managing water and debates future needs based around impending government legislation. It covers industry best practice and innovation across the whole water cycle and provides a stimulating environment to discuss future challenges.
